PJ Mullins was a solicitor, cricket enthusiast and supporter of St Clare's Catholic Church, Tully. He also put together a compilation entitled "The Mullins Story and the Irish in Tully."

The Pilot Station at Flying Fish Point was erected in 1884 and first lighted in 1885. The lights allowed vessels to navigate the river entrance at night. This image was taken in the early 1930s
