They built a family home at 'Glenwarn' (located within the junction of Meunga and Kennedy Creeks). The brothers were to own a timber mill at Carruchan which later belonged to Brown & Broad Ltd

Black and white photograph of Tully State School after the fire in 1935. St. Clare's Church and Convent School buildings can be seen behind the ruined primary school. The building currently on this site replaced the burnt school, it was completed in 1938 and is now heritage listed
