Bineham ran a general carrying business in Tully from the 1930s. His truck (possibly the one pictured) served as the town hearse for a while. Bineham Street in Tully was named after him

Sepia photograph of Trooper Harry Curtis who grew up in Murray Upper, enlisted in early 1915 and served at Gallipoli and the Middle East in the First World War. He served on Cardwell Shire Council and also joined the VDC in the Second World War. His name appears on the Honour Roll in Cardwell and Curtis Street, Tully was named after him

Tully State School group photograph taken in 1951 (the "High School Top"). Tully Primary School was increased to provide secondary education in 1951 to a Junior standard. A temporary wooden structure served as the classroom. The Tully State High School commenced in 1964
