This photo was taken before it was refurbished in 1988 to become the library. The closed-in portion of the veranda is visible, and also the supper room at the rear. It was severely damaged by Cyclone Yasi in 2011 and subsequently rebuilt. Now a heritage listed property, it houses the J.C. Hubinger Museum
