Black & white photograph of exterior view of the Innisfail Court House, Rankin Street, Innisfail (corner Rankin Street and Edith Street), taken from opposite corner of intersection. Innisfail Court House was constructed as part of a Government initiated works scheme designed to create employment during the Great Depression. Designed in the inter-war classical style by the office of the Department of Public Works, while AB Leven was the Chief Architect. It was completed in 1939

Photograph of the railway station building at Kennedy. The siding was named Kennedy by the Railways Department on 20 Feb 1926, replacing the original name of Mulgan. The North Coast railway line was constructed north from Townsville at the same time as it was being built southwards from Cairns. It was finally completed in December 1924
