Sepia photograph of George Hunt's truck outside the Kincora Hotel, Lower Tully. George Hunt worked on the construction of the Lower Tully road in the 1920s. The Kincora Hotel was built by Terence O'Loghlen who applied for a licence for a hotel on his cane farm in 1927. The hotel opened in October 1928. The name, Kincora, commemorates the palace of Brian Boru in Co. Clare, Ireland
