The image is of Winnie, Violet and Dilly Boy. Dilly Boy showed Surveyor Smith the gap through the Walter Hill Range that the North Coast Railway took. He was presented with an engraved brass plate as "King Dilly Boy of Banyan."

A sawmill tramway from the wharf to Japoonvale was also used by Chinese growers to transport their bananas to the wharf as seen on this image, where "S.S. Seymour" is loading.
