Copy print showing a timber truck loaded with a huge log. The truck was owned by Ignas Anthony (Tony) Kava, who owned a sawmilling business at Granadilla from 1952 to 1973. Of Lithuanian descent, Kava originally came to Tully as a canecutter

The North Coast Railway line through from Townsville to Cairns was finally officially opened in December 1924 when the Daradgee bridge over the Johnstone River was completed
