As Mick Dundee navigates New York with Sue, danger builds when Sues journalist ex-husband, mails her incriminating film before being killed by Colombian drug dealers. The Colombian cartel kidnaps Sue, so Mick enlists New York punks to rescue her. To protect Sue, they escape to the Northern Territory. The drug dealers chase Mick and Sue into the unpredictable Outback, where Mick picks off the bad guys with his bush skills, help from mysterious Indigenous men, and exotic Aussie animals.
