Sepia photograph of Percy Benn's home near Maria Creek, in the 1930s. Percy Benn was one of the original soldier settlers at El Arish and one of the first to plant cane. When first built, this house was extremely modern and "new look" in design. Sugar cane is growing near the house and a utility truck is parked close by
