Photograph of St Clare’s catholic church on the right, and St Clare’s primary school (convent school) on the left, Mars Street, Tully. The photo is thought to have been taken in the late 1920s or 1930s. St. Clare's School was established in Tully in 1928. The Sisters of the Good Samaritan arrived in February 1928 and classes commenced in the church. The foundation stone for the school building photographed was laid in 1933 with lessons commencing here in April 1934
