The construction of the Kirrama Range Road commenced in 1973 as a Public Estates Improvement project. On 27 September 1941 three monuments along the road were unveiled in memory of Percy Pease, Brice Henry and George W. Tucker respectively. This photograph was taken at the Tucker monument ceremony
