Sepia original photograph of Victoria Street, Cardwell, looking north. The Marine Hotel is on the left. The tops of the three coconut palms on the foreshore were shot off in 1942 by service personnel who were in Cardwell to salvage a Hudson Bomber that crashed in the Hinchinbrook Channel
